It’s nothing new that Gen Z is making fun of Millenials, the much, much older 30-something year olds. TikTok has been flooded with videos joking about their side-parted hair, skinny jeans or use of the wrong emojis.

Other than that this makes me laugh, it also gives us marketers an insight into this generation, that is becoming more important to many brands. To be able to really connect with them, we need to be able to talk in their language and embrace it fully.

One of the spear points of Gen Z is that they don’t want to be fake and now that more and more Gen Z’ers are entering the office life, it is the latest trend to say goodbye to the boomer-office-culture, hilariously shown in this TikTok. Because is it not way more professional to not be fake?
