Like BeReal, users will receive a notification at any time of the day to take a picture with the front- and rear camera of their phone. The biggest difference? You can use TikTok Now to capture not only a static photo but also 10-second videos. This allows you to establish an even deeper connection with your followers. This could be detrimental to BeReal, as moving footage generally scores better on social media than still images. In addition, TikTok Now not only allows you to share your moment with friends, but you can also send it out into the wider world with the potential to reach more people.
