This week Nike Air Max celebrated its 25 year existence. Nike celebrated this milestone with a 3D ad of the iconic sneaker. People who passed the world famous crossing at Shinjuku in Tokyo, saw a gigantic shoe coming out of one of the office buildings. 3D and OOH are still pretty new, but on social 3D plays a much bigger part, especially when looking at social shopping.

AR shopping filters

Do you also hate busy shopping streets and tight fitting rooms, but do you like to try on things before you buy them? Augmented Reality (AR) is here to the rescue! @kyliecosmetics for instance, created a filter to test the perfect shade of lipstick and with @gucci’s filter you can try on new shoes. But you can also take it a step further like H&M, who announced an entire online store to visit in the metaverse:

Shopping in the metaverse

With mannequins and clothing racks, the meta-store looks a lot like its offline bigger brother. Snapchat tries to bring these two even closer together and announced ‘custom landmarkers’. This new feature allows you to turn any building into a magical 3D brand experience. The options are endless!
