ChatGTP is your new social creative
Imagine robots creating your upcoming social monthly plans. Completely made with suggested posts, catchy copies and at least 10 concepts for your next Reels and TikToks. It all seems to become a reality with the popular ChatGTP. Should we, as marketers and social creatives, fear for our jobs?
You’ve probably heard the name somewhere before. Maybe you’ve even opened the website before or who knows, maybe you’re one of the frontrunners who has been using the tool intensely in your daily work. For those who don’t, here’s a little explanation of this new technology.
ChatGTP is a smart chatbot, which you can ask questions, give tasks and help translate blogs and copies. The innovators call it an optimized language model, designed to support people in performing tasks and creating content in a more efficient way. Some practical social examples are writing entire blogs, coming up with catchy caption copies for Gen Z and providing you with a whole bunch of concepts for your next Reels or TikTok.
Ryan Reynolds even came up with a YouTube ad written by ChatGTP this week. If this tool can even provide entire social media posts including relevant hashtags, are marketers and social creatives still needed?
OpenAI, the creators of the chatbot, answers this in their vision: they want to make task performance and content creation more efficient, not completely replace it. So we can all take a breath now.
Our own experiences with the chatbot correspond well. It’s a super handy tool that can provide inspiration and make your work more efficient, but it lacks the human touch and creative angle that individuals bring. How will you be using ChatGTP in your creative process?
