Generation Z, young people born with a smartphone in their hand, grew up in a world in which events such as 9/11 determine the streets and the crisis and its consequences influence the atmosphere at home. It is the first generation that cannot remember life before the internet. They do not have posters of pop stars hanging above their beds but follow influencers on social media.
Many brands are on the hunt for Generation Z. They want to involve them in their brand, because maybe not now, but certainly in a few years this will be the most important consumer. Transavia was also looking for a way to involve this target group in their brand.

We came up with and produced Transavia Grensverleggers. A twelve-part web series in which various influencers such as Iris Enthoven, Jessie Jazz, and Robbert Rodenburg flew to unknown cities in Europe to stay here with minimal means. No overnight stay, no money, but a dose of energy and curiosity.
